Whiskers Animal Shelter

Adoption Application

Our Pet List

Every year more and more cats and kittens are left abandoned. Local animal control is overwhelmed with dogs and there is no help for the cats. Many suffer and die each year due to starvation, disease, poisoning, and abandonment.

Whiskers Animal Shelter is helping many of these cats and kittens each year. Unfortunately, many of them come into the shelter with health problems which require medical attention, vet care, and more importantly they need to be housed in an area where they cannot be contagious to other cats.

We need your support in helping us with our fundraiser to care for the cats that make their way to our shelter. Every little bit helps...so please consider making a tax deductible donation. Click on the link below for more information on our project.

Pet of the Month

Meet our pet of the month...Bronco: He is one very large cat with a personality which is just as big. He would be a great cat with kids as he would chase a ball as long as they wanted to keep rolling it. He has a very relaxed personality, but seems to be the boss of some of the other cats. Would someone give him a chance? He's looking for his forever home.

Who We Are

We are a relatively small animal shelter, housing approximately 75 cats and kittens at any given time. Our love for animals is driving us forward as we continue establishing this shelter which focuses on abandoned mother cats with kittens and abandoned kittens.

Adopting a friend

If you are looking at the sites in Petfinder, and you have made your way to our site, we thank you. Adopting an animal is accepting a friend. There are too many animals to count who are homeless, and who need a friend and a good home. Please consider adopting a friend.

Come Visit Us!

Currently visits are arranged by appointment. All our boarders are housed indoors. The shelter is open on Saturday from 10-12 and 2-4. Adoption fee is $60 for kittens, $75 for adults (anyone that is spayed/neutered). Please call to set up an appointment.
