Somerset Regional Animal Shelter is a municipal organization that provides animal control services for designated areas and cares for approximately 1,000 lost, abandoned, and surrendered animals per year. We provide free humane education to schools and interested groups.

  • Provide a safe, clean, compassionate environment for all animals housed within the shelter.

  • Find loving, responsible homes for all adoptable animals in our care.

  • Continue to work on ending the pet overpopulation problem through public education and spaying/neutering ALL our animals prior to their adoption.

  • Supply animal control services for Bridgewater Township, the Borough of Manville, and the Township of Green Brook.

  • Strive for the humane care, treatment, and well-being of all animals through education, information, investigation, and action.
