Ruffus Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization established to help reduce the needless euthanasia of adoptable dogs in north Georgia. Most of our dogs come from rural animal control shelters. They receive vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm/parasite testing and treatment, microchip, and other veterinary services, as needed, and we care for the dogs as our own until loving, permanent homes can be found. Ruffus Rescue receives no government funding and we rely solely on your financial and volunteer support.
If you are interested in any of our dogs, you can meet them at our adoption site or contact us (404-725-1987 or email email@example.com) to meet them at another time. You can also complete an on-line or printable application (see below). Our standard adoption fee is $250. This helps us with veterinary care and other operational costs, not just for the individual dog you may be adopting, but for all our rescued dogs.

Foster homes are desperately needed.
Please contact us if you can provide a temporary, loving home for one of our wonderful dogs so that we can rescue more dogs from shelters. We provide a crate and food and ask that you bring your foster dog to our adoption site each weekend until a permanent home can be found (or as long as you can).
If you can't foster a homeless pet, please consider making a donation. It's expensive to rescue, shelter and provide veterinary care for the dogs and some come to us with heartworms, orthopedic problem or other conditions that need immediate treatment and others have injuries from animal cruelty or neglect. Your financial support makes it possible for us to give these animals a second chance at a happy life. You can make a donation online by clicking the PayPal Donate button or you can mail it to the address below.
NOTE: All printable adoption forms are in Portable Document Format (PDF). If you do not have Adobe Reader, you can download and install it by clicking the "Get Adobe Reader" button below.
