PAWS of Marion, Arkansas

SPRING IS HERE! With it comes an urgent need for indoor foster homes (particularly for the numerous litters of puppies we get this time of year)! This truly is a matter of life and death for some of our precious pups. Please consider becoming a TEMPORARY FOSTER PARENT!.

If you cannot foster a dog, please consider helping BY SPONSORING A DOG IN NEED. We need funds to help pay for spaying/neutering, general medical care, heartworm treatment, and other items needed to directly care for these guys/gals. DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE TOO! We can always use blankets, towels, and good quality dog food.

Adopting a friend

Please understand that it is our obligation to place our animals in optimum homes. Many of our animals have been injured and/or abused. We must insure that they are not placed into traumatic situations again.

Adoption fees vary depending on vet needs and sponsorship funds available; please contact us for specific information. To adopt one of our dogs, please complete our adoption application and contact Lisa at 901-826-0292 to arrange a time to meet the dog of choice.

Help Needed

We are beyond capacityl! We are in desperate need to place these animals in permanent homes or foster homes; some of them.. If the animal has "URGENT" listed beside his/her name, they are in immediate need of rescue, foster homes or adoptive homes.

Foster Homes Needed - We are always in need of foster homes. If you can volunteer to foster any of our animals, please complete our foster application and contact or Allison, 901-240-9848.

Foster Opportunities - Some of our dogs go to approved rescues. These dogs need to be cared for out of the shelter environment for 2 - 3 weeks before transport. Additionally, some of our dogs have special medical needs, such as Heartworms. Others come to us injured. In order for us to treat these special needs pups, we need a safe, warm place to house them so that they may regain their health before going to an adoptive home or rescue. This is a wonderful way to help a dog in need without making a long-term commitment.

We are rescue-friendly. If you work with a rescue and are interested in helping some of our dogs, please contact Lisa at 901-826-0292.

If you are unable to adopt or foster one of our dogs, please consider our sponsorship program. By sponsoring a dog financially, you help to offset the vetting/adoption fees, which will make the dog eligible to go to an approved rescue. Dogs who are looking for sponsors will have a "Sponsor Me!" button on their petfinder profiles. When sponsoring a dog, be sure to include the name of the dog in your correspondence.
