News and events

September 27, 2008
Our "Concert in the Park" and Spay Neuter Clinic by TARA Mobile Feline Spay/Neuter Clinic, is scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2008. We'll have live music, vendors, Macaroni the Clown and food & soft drinks at the Concert. The Concert is our biggest fundraiser and we need a big turnout, so please mark your calendars and come and enjoy the music of the Coverup Band and all the other activities. The Spay/Neuter Clinic will be held at our Concert in the Park on the same day, 9/27/08. This is a perfect opportunity to get your cat spayed or neutered at a very reasonable cost by a NYS licensed vet. The cost is $60.00 per cat, and that cost includes the spay/neuter, a rabies vaccine and ear cleaning and nail trimming. A distemper shot is available for an additional $7.00, and deworming is available for an additional $7.00. You must sign up and pay in advance for the spay neuter clinic, so please call our shelter at 294-8394 to make a reservation and get our address to mail your check. The procedure is easy, just drop your cat off at the mobile clinic at our "Concert in the Park" location at the First Presbyterian Church property in the center of the Village of Goshen between 7:30am and 8:30am. Your cat will be checked in and kept in the mobile clinic and then you may return to pick up your Cat between 4:30pm and 5:00pm that same day. In between, come and enjoy our Fundraiser and listen to the great Coverup Band. This band is really good and great for the whole family. Hot dogs, hamburgers, soft drinks, vendors and a 50/50 will be some of the events, so please support your shelter and come on down.

The adoption donation is $75 for Cats. This includes a Rabies shot, a Distemper shot, Leukemia / Aids testing, De-worming and Altering of the animal

The adoption donation is $105 for Dogs. This includes a Rabies and Distemper shot, Heart worm and Lyme testing, De-worming and Altering of the animal. The mandatory NYS licensing fee is an aditional $5.50.
