Our Mission
We are a small group of people with a large amount of dog rescue experience, who came together with a big dream. We share our love of dogs and other animals, and our admiration (dare we say addiction) for North American arctic breed dogs. We rescue dogs from our local shelters and accept local relinquishments. There are so many dogs in need in our own region.
We know there is a need for a professional, ethical and team driven organization to rescue and re-home these animals, and there is as much need to educate the public, and support all the lives touched in the rescue process –regardless of the number of legs.
Adoption Policy
Arctic Spirit Rescue adopts northern breed dogs to adopters within a 100 mile radius of our suburban Philadelphia, PA office. For more information about our adoption program please visit our website. We do not have a kennel facility. We feel that it's important for each dog to be evaluated and fostered in a home setting where he/she can become accustomed to real life experiences. This also allows us to accurately evaluate each of our dogs to determine what the best home environment would be. This results in a better match with the best chance of success for a positive experience for our dog and our adoptive family.
Most northern breed dogs have unusually high prey drives which makes it difficult to place with cats or small dogs. If a dog's profile indicates no cats or small animals we will not make any exceptions. Our priority is to find the best home for each dog and to also keep your other pets happy and safe as well.

If you are interested in a specific dog please be sure to read its profile carefully to make sure you are able to offer the home that we feel is best for that dog. No dogs are shown without an approved application.
