The Humane Society of Barron County is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), open door animal shelter serving the residents of Barron County. As an open admission animal shelter, we accept every animal, regardless of age, species, breed, health or temperament. At this time, we are only able to accept animals that reside in Barron County. We are dedicated and diligent in finding permanent, loving homes for all companion animals that have found their way to HSBC. All incoming animals are evaluated, vaccinated, medically treated if possible, and receive training when needed. HSBC is operated by a small staff and relies heavily on volunteers, as well as funds from donations, adoptions, memberships and fundraisers to keep our doors open for the animals needing our assistance.
