Kindred Kitties is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding "forever" homes for displaced cats and kittens. We operate from a foster home environment. The number of cats we are able to help depends on the number of foster homes we have available. Please consider offering your home as a temporary refuge for cats and kittens awaiting adoption. If you are interested or would like more information on fostering cats and/or kittens, call 262/605-0533 or visit www.kindredkitties.org
Once you've made the decision to add a new member to your family, and have found the perfect kitty for you, you will be asked to complete a adoption application. The questions asked are very important in the process. Once the application is reviewed and approved, we will complete an Adoption Agreement which is the binding contract between you and Kindred Kitties. Adoption fees are as follows: Cats over 1 year old are $60 each, (2 cats for $100). Kittens 9 weeks to 1 year who have been spayed/neutered/microchipped – $100 each. 2 spay/neutered/microchipped kittens - $160 (If one of the two is NOT spayed/neutered - $140). Kittens 9 weeks to 6 months NOT yet spayed/neutered – $80 each (2 kittens for $120).
Each kitten or cat is tested for Feline Leukemia and is current on distemper vaccinations. Some have a current Rabies vaccine, and all have been de-wormed and de-fleaed. Any cat or kitten old enough to be spayed or neutered undergoes the procedure before it is offered for adoption. Our contract requires that if you adopt an unneutered cat, you are required to ensure that she/he is spayed/neutered by the date designated on the Adoption Agreement. With every adoption, we're there for you and your new friend, to make sure every phase of introducing your kitten or cat into your home is smooth and pleasant.
We are currently looking for foster homes. If you have an extra room and extra love to give a cat or kittens, please call Cathy at (262)210/1999.
We are also in great need of volunteers who can help us clean our adoption center in the mornings (9-11AM)! If you think you may be able to commit to helping out even one day a week, call Cathy at (262)210/1999.

We are in need of good rural/farm homes for some of our very shy/feral kitties. We like to place barn kitties in pairs. All kitties placed onto a farm have been spayed/neutered, updated on shots, dewormed, given a flea preventative, and have tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV. We need good farm homes who will provide food, water, and shelter daily. They would need to be kept in a cage for about 3 weeks at first while they 'get to know' their new surroundings. We would be able to provide a cage for you to borrow if you do not have one. Please spread the word! Feral kitties need homes too!
