Forever Home Dog Rescue
Our Mission
Forever Home Dog Rescue (FHDR) is a non-profit organization. We receive dogs from owner surrenders, overcrowded shelters, puppy-mills and hoarding situations. All of the dogs are housed in private, loving foster homes or at our kenneling facility. This way we can assess their behaviors and health and help them relax during their transition to a forever home. The dogs remain in our care until they are adopted. All of the dogs are/will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and updated on routine vaccinations.

Placement can be anywhere from two weeks to several months. We provide any dog supplies you may need and cover all medical costs needed. You provide the

Interested in adopting one of our rescue dogs?? Here are the steps to a successful adoption:
Review the dog's picture and bio on "Pet Finder" or "Happy Tails" (See listing on the right side of this page)

FHDR will screen your application and call you to tell you more about the dog

A Meet and Greet will be set up.
(All members of your household (dogs and humans) must attend the meet and greet.)

Pay the adoption fee, sign the adoption contract and receive the dog's health records.
