Who We Are

The City Of Shelton Animal Shelter is one of two animal shelters in all of Mason County. We have facilities for dogs only, NO cats.

Adopting a friend

Adoption fees are $75.00 per dog, which includes the spay/neuter surgery for your new dog. Dogs which will be living inside city limits of Shelton must also be licensed and vaccinated against Rabies.

Come Visit Us!

We are open Tuesday-Friday 9:00am - 2:00pm. Closed Saturday,Sunday and Monday. The animal shelter is located at 902 W. Pine Street in downtown Shelton. From the Seattle area, take I-5 south towards Olympia, take Exit 104, go 5 miles and take the exit marked Shelton/Port Angeles (Hwy 101). Go 14 miles to the SECOND Shelton exit marked City Center/Matlock, go right off the exit, continue straight to 7th Street, turn left on 7th and follow it to Pine Street, take a left on Pine Street and we are at 902 Pine Street. From Bremerton/Silverdale area: Take Highway 3 to Shelton. At the end of Highway 3 you will be at a stop sign next to Lumbermans. Take a right at that stop sign. Take your next left (Alder St). Continue straight to the traffic light and take a left at the light (7th Street). Take a right on Pine St and we are 902 Pine Street.
