Who We Are
Bandit's Adoption & Rescue of K-9s was formed for the express purpose of rescuing orphaned or abandoned pets and other adoptable dogs from local shelters and finding loving, forever homes for them. All B.A.R.K. dogs are taken to local participating veterinarians and tested for disease, neutered or spayed, and given all age-appropriate inoculations. B.A.R.K. volunteer foster-parents provide safe environments for rescued animals until they are adopted by loving individuals and families. Our first priority is the health, care and safety of our animals. B.A.R.K. operates soley by volunteers who donate their time, talent and compassion. Please be patient with us. We promise to do our very best to review and respond promptly to all your inquiries on all our furry friends.
B.A.R.K. is a nonprofit, tax exempt 501 (c)(3) organization run strictly by donations.
Adopting a Friend
B.A.R.K.'s donation for an adoption is $175.00. This donation helps to cover some of the vet expenses incurred for each animal. This includes, but is not limited to: spaying or neutering, de-worming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, vaccinations, microchip, and other medications as required. We try to do whatever it takes to insure you are adopting the healthiest animal possible.
Come and visit with our dogs ! We will be holding our Saturday adoption outings from noon until 3:00 pm at the Jessica Beath Clinic at the Farrington Firehouse (12300 Farrington Rd., Ashland) every Saturday. Sunday outings are subject to volunteer availability and weather.
We also have an adoption outing the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month at the PetSmart at Cosner Corner at 9751 Jefferson Davis Highway Fredericksburg Va 22407 from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
