Thank You all for your interest in the petfinder website and the support that you give all of us at the shelters!
Who We Are
The mission of the Beaver County Animal Control Department is to balance the health, safety and welfare needs of the people and animals in Beaver County. It is our responsibility to maintain the highest quality services to the community while promoting responsible pet ownership, protecting the rights of people from the dangers and nuisances caused by uncontrollable animals, ensuring the legal protection of animals from neglect or mistreatment and providing a lost and found service for returning lost pets to their owners.
We envision the day when all citizens, their property and their neighborhood will be safe from the dangers and nuisances of irresponsible pet ownership. We hope every pet born will be able to find a "forever home" for all of its natural life and spaying/neutering of pets will be a positive choice by pet owners. Success will only come when no animal needs to be euthanized except for those who are suffering or endangering the safety of the people and their animals.
Spay and Neuter your pets and save lives!
Please check our pets out and come and visit the shelter to adopt a new family member. Our facility is a high kill shelter because of our space and smaller community so if you see a pet that you like you better hurry! Dogs and cats are only kept in the shelter for 5 working days as a stray so their time is short. Please adopt!
Adopting a friend
If the adopted pet of your choice is not spayed or neutered then we require a deposit of $80.00 for dogs and $40.00 for cats. You choose which vet and after proof of Spayed or Neutered is complete the deposit will be refunded back to you, less the $25.00 adoption fee.
