BAM operates as a network of foster homes to assist animals in need of finding their forever homes and as a network of volunteers to support community programs focused on building strong humane relationships between people and their pets.
Because Animals Matter is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to reducing animal abuse and neglect through education. All BAM's programs and services are supported through the generosity of contributors and dedicated volunteers. We do not receive any federal, state or local government funding.
All of our pets stay in homes of caring individuals who volunteer their time to help socialize and train them so they are ready for their new families. If you are interested in fostering a pet please call J at 435.773.5209.
Adopting a new pet
Adopting a new forever pet can be easy. Call or e-mail and we can make arrangements for a personal visit. Phone lines are open between 9am-4pm; if no one is available be sure to leave a detailed, clear message with your name and phone number. Our animals are healthy, up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed or neutered. Adoption fees cover the costs for spay/neuter, shots, and some training provided while the animal is in foster care. BAM requires that all interested adopters complete an application form. Read through all the steps on how to adopt an animal from BAM, including the downloadable application and contract here. We reserve the right to make a home visit to see that our adopted pets and their new families are the right match.
Thank you for your interest in our work and passion.
