Keep current on heartworm and flea preventatiion for your pets health. Annual Exams with your veterinarian is part of a life long treatment plan for the health & well being of your pet. Preventative veterinary care is cost effective rather than awaiting until an emergency situation arises.

    Who We Are

Larry N. White, D.V.M. has been the sole veterinarian at Briarcrest Veterinary Clinic, Inc. for 30+ years. Briarcrest Veterinary Clinic is NOT a drop-off center NOR a shelter for orphaned, injured or unwanted pets. Unfortunately, we are not accepting any displaced animals at this time but concentrating our efforts on finding homes for the orphaned pets in our care.

    Adopting a friend

Many of the Briarcrest pets up for adoption come with a heart-wrenching story...the adoptable animals first of all have been examined by Dr. White. Spaying or neutering, updates on vaccinations, including rabies, and worming are next on the list. Dogs are tested for heartworms and some of the kittens/cats have been FeLV/FIV combo tested. If you would like your adoptee to be Feline Combo tested by Briarcrest, the fee for testing will be at cost plus the adoption fee. Pets receive heartworm and flea preventative while awaiting adoption.

    Come Visit Us!

We encourage Meet & Greet Sessions. Not all of the pets are at the clinic, so a little preparation & planning is needed to set up an appointment. An adoption application is required, references will be checked as we want to be certain our pets are being placed in the best homes possible. Kittens & cats are required to be INDOOR PETS ONLY. We do not adopted kittens to families with children under the age of 5 years of age.
