When attempts to reunite pets with their families fail, we place friendly, healthy animals up for adoption. Our adoption fee is $30.00, which includes Heartworm Testing, DHPPV Booster, Worming (Pyrantel), and Microchipping.
We do not have a veterinarian on staff, so we do require (per law) that the adopter provide sterilization and rabies vaccination for their pet within a given time period. For sterilization, we provide (30) days from the date of adoption, or (30) days from the date that the animal is 6 months old (whichever is later). Fro rabies vaccination, we provide (5) business days from the date that the animal is 4 months old (whichever is later). Staff can help you find a low cost clinic, and set up an appointment and transportation.
** Certain breeds are subject to being vaccinated and sterilized prior to leaving the facility. This is done to protect at-risk breeds from mistreatment through breeding. This includes ALL bully breeds (pit bulls, staffordshires, bulldogs, etc), and some other purebred dogs. Please get with a staff member for details.**
