Hannah is a special piggy. When she came to the rescue she was suffering from a bumble foot infection caused by her previous care giver keeping her on a wire bottom cage. She went through several drug treatments and soaking therapies, including antibiotics being implanted directly into the foot. Finally, after almost 1 year of daily treatments, her foot healed. This is not an isolated case of the type of piggy we rescue, and these extensive treatments are expensive. Donations to help piggies like Hannah are always greatly appreciated. "Life is as dear to a mute creature as it is to man. Just as one wants happiness and fears pain, just as one wants to live and not die, so do other creatures."
