DFW FurGotten Friends
Our Mission
DFW's FurGotten Friends is a 501 (c) 3 comprised of a group of dog loving individuals who focus on saving stray and abandoned dogs in the Dallas area. Through the efforts of our members and volunteers we hope to make a difference in the lives of as many dogs as we can and by taking in stray dogs we hope to help lighten the load on our local city shelter.
Adoption Policy
We have several best friends for you to adopt. Our requirements for adopting one of our FurGotten Friends are as follows.
We have an adoption application and contract for you to fill out. We require a home visit to make sure it's a safe environment for our pups and to make sure they get along with any of your four legged family members as well as the two leg ones. We only want homes where we know our pups will be loved and kept forever. That's why we call it a furever home. If you have other pets we like to contact your vet to insure you keep them up to date on their health needs so we know you will take good care of the ones we've saved. There is also an adoption fee of $250.00. We also welcome guest dogs from other rescuers so their adoption donations might be different. All of our dogs are up to date on shots, spayed or neutered.
