Pets are Worth Saving, TN - P.A.W.S. TN, is a 501(c)3 non- profit rescue group that saves Shelter pets in Middle Tennessee. We rescue and place last chance puppies and adults.
We foster homeless pets that were once on euthanizing lists due to our local shelters being over whelmed with incoming animals. We specialize in puppy rescue and do not seperate litters, we take every puppy, and mom's are not left behind.
ADOPTING A FRIEND
Our adoption fee is $200. The average cost of vaccinations, deworming, micro chipping, spay/neuter, heartworm testing and a months care is $200. If your dogs expenses are covered by your adoption fee, the remainder of the fee goes straight to the dogs to pay for food, medical care and the dogs daily needs. Your fee helps us rehabilitate a dog with long term needs or save a weak puppy. You might be buying time and life for a large dog, a black dog, or a shy dog, a dog whose life is not a financial practicality. When you adopt one of our dogs, you are not buying a pet; you are supporting our life saving rescue work.
If you are interested in adopting any of our pets - these are the secure links for our adoption applications, please fill it out and we will contact you to meet your potential best friend as soon as we can. -
We Transport pets over 6 months old - our transport stops in Hagerstown, MD, Fogelsville, PA and Bedminster, NJ, and Nanuet, NY, Danbury, CT, Glastonbury, CT, Brattleboro, VT, White River Junction, VT, Plainfield, CT, and Hampton, NH.
Additional fees for transported dogs -
The fee for the transport company to transport is $150.
Paws charges an additional fee of $150 to cover the dogs health certificate, additional series of shots, and additional testing and quarantine time.
That is a total - with transport fee - of $500 to have the pet transported to Northern states.
Any pet picked up in Tennessee - the standard $200 fee would apply.
