About Us

Our members provide care and a temporary home for homeless, abused, and abandoned animals. Our pets' needs are great. They need food, shelter, medicine, and of course, love. These are just the bare and basic necessities, but so many have been deprived of just that!. Requiring many to have to be given supportive around the clock care just to get out of critical care window, then surgeries, some must undergo amputations, emergant transfusions, and so on.  You can help by contacting our group and offer your services and/or donation in any amount you can afford. NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL!!.. Some months our vet bills alone are a staggering $3,000 and $4,000!!...on up to $6,000 & $7,000!!. This does not even enclude ongoing daily care in each one's foster home, or necessary medications, monthly heartworm & flea & tick preventitives, or transport costs.

Many of our rescues have to stay in boarding facilities until a foster, adoptive home, or another rescue agency/group is found where it then will be adopted out through their adoption program. And these costs add up quickly. :-(

For those who have recently rescued an animal, we are able to help in providing relatively low cost vaccinations for these dear friends and resources for discounted vetting & the spay/neuter of your new best friend.  We are only able to continue to provide this service by receiving donations. YOU can help save a helpless animal by contacting our group with an offer of your time, your home as a foster, and/or with a monetary donation. Having someone to go sit and interact, pet, or just talk or sing in the company of these rescues has worked miracles and for many that begins laying the groundwork/foundation to calm a restless, uncertain, shy, or mistreated animal. We also need experienced typist, bookkeepers, photographers, videographers, groomers, handlers, trainers, behavioralists, those interested in fundraisers, experienced PR, in advertisements, and so on..)

All donations are greatly appreciated and desperately needed!. To donate, please send your gift to Pudge-n-Pals, P.O. Box 663, Union City, TN 38281 or to First Citizens Bank, Union City, TN in the name of Pudge-n-Pals. Donations can also be made toward vet bills at Reelfoot Animal Hospital, located at 402 W Reelfoot Ave, Union City, TN 38261 or at Hooks Pet Clinic, 296 Hwy 431, Martin, TN.

Even if you do not see pictured what you think to be your new family member, by filling out the adoption application and getting pre-approved, we will be ready to contact you when we have found your perfect match!! :))

These animals needs are so great, and there are many of our rescue's pictures that are posted to our adoptable albumn, because that particular animal already has a pre-approved adopter.

That pre-approved adopter has completed all preliminary paperwork, a home visit, and when we that perfect fit came our way, all that was left to do is fully vet, spay/neuter, microchip, (if we had not had done already in previous location), have health checks & certificates in place and then transport for the lucky baby arranged, and before ya know it, a family is complete!! Wahoo!! :-))

Please,..adopt your new best friend!..! Without placement in adoptive homes, we cannot continue saving lives!!!.. Thank you in advance!! You won't be sorry!! :-))

Who We Are

Thank you for visiting Pudge-n-Pals. Pudge-n-Pals is a group of individuals that have come together to rescue and care for abused and abandoned animals.  Every member of our group dedicates his/her time, home, and money to provide this much needed care for homeless animals.
We are a non-profit organization, that has acquired our 501c(3); as such, we are privately funded and gratefully accept donations. All donations are 100% tax deductible.
Our goal is to provide safe and loving foster families for these beloved animals while pursuing permanent adoptive homes. We also promote the spaying and neutering of all cats and dogs due to the large number of unwanted and abandoned animals. There are an estimated 5 million dogs and cats euthanized in shelters and animal control facilities every year here in the US alone. This does not include all those who die alone, get run over on roadways, killed by wild animlas, or who suffer senseless deaths at the hands of the ones who are suppose to love, protect, and provide for them.

We are located in Union City, TN (Northwest Tennessee Region). We are individuals such as yourself that realize the need to rescue abused and abandoned animals. We each started out by helping a few homeless and helpless creatures. In attempting to locate permanent homes for our animals, we discovered that the need for providing foster families is urgent and immeasurable.  Since there are no facilities other than the typical animal shelters located in our area, we decided to come together to provide care for animals as well as assist those whom, by happenstance, come to the rescue of a wandering pup to locate an adoptive family while providing care in the interim.

Though located in Union City, Tennessee, our contacts have branched out to other areas, such as Southwest, Middle, and Eastern Kentucky, Middle East Tennessee, New York, New Jersey, Conneticutt, Pennsylvania, Maine, Maryland, Oregon, Washington, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.
