Before a Scottie is adopted, STRSE absorbs all costs of medical and corrective treatments required for our Scotties before adoption. It’s our goal to ensure that all our rescue Scotties are healthy before they leave our care - regardless of the amount of time it requires. Some of our rescues suffer from chronic, non-life threatening illnesses. Our policy is to provide full disclosure of all known medical conditions prior to adoption.
When an adoption is made, the adopter is required to sign a contract - agreeing to provide adequate care for the Scottie. We ask for a donation from the adopting individual or family to cover the rescue expenses.
If you are interested in the adoption of a Scottish Terrier with STRSE, we ask that you complete an adoption application by visiting our website at scottiesoutheast.org and choose the adoption application specific to your region: NC/SC, GA, or FL. You may also contact the coordinator specific to your state.
Scottish Terrier Rescue of the Southeast (STRSE) is dedicated to the rescue and rehoming of Scottish Terriers in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
