Humane Society of Marlboro County
Our Mission
The Humane Society of Marlboro County is a non-profit animal rescue organization devoted to saving, rehabilitating and re-homing abandoned and abused animals in Marlboro County, SC. We operate the open intake Marlboro County Animal Shelter which houses pets for Marlboro County and the City of Bennettsville, SC.
Adoption Policy
1.) The first step to adoption is to submit your Adoption Application. If you are interested in a particular pet, please note their name on the application.
2.) Allow 48 hours for us to review your application, if you still have not received a response, please re-submit.
3.) If your application is approved, we will contact you to set up a meet and greet!
All of our adoptable animals are up to date on shots and spayed or neutered.
There is an $90 adoption fee for dogs and $65 for cats.
Adopters must be 18 or older.
