Welcome to The Sanctuary at Haafsville. We are a volunteer-based organization. We have a small shelter located in Breinigsville PA.

DOG Open Hours – Saturdays 10am – 2pm

CAT Open Hours for previously scheduled appointments – Saturdays 10am – 12pm
CAT Open Hours without appointments – Saturdays 12pm – 2pm
We have dogs and cats available for adoption at the shelter. All animals are fully vetted and spayed/neutered. Kittens and puppies are usually placed into foster homes and are not at the shelter. We have many years of experience in TNR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate and Return). We provide information on low cost spay/neuter clinics to assist people who want to humanely control the overpopulation of free-roaming cats and feral colonies. As a courtesy we will post cats or dogs for individuals and groups who do not have their own websites as long as the pet is up to date with vaccinations and neutered. These listings will be noted as courtesy posts. We do courtesy postings via email only, please do not call our rescue when requesting a courtesy post. You must be willing to foster the animal until it finds a new fur-ever home. We are always in need of volunteers at the shelter, at fundraising events and foster homes too, so if interested in helping us and the animals out please send an email to volunteer@thesanctuarypa.org

Cats and kittens must go home in a carrier.
We accept cash or credit cards for adoption fees.
