Neglect, suffering, and death often occur through ignorance rather than intentional cruely. One of our goals is to provide the new or potential animal owner the proper education for basic care.
LCR has saved many horses from slaughter. Some have needed special care, veterinary help, basic TLC, rehabilitation, or, sometimes just time to heal. LCR provides vet care, farrier care, nourishing foods, rest and most importantly, lots of love. Our horses have gone on to new ways of life that include riding, driving, showing, therapy, and overall companions to all.
Please report any abuse or neglect situations to the ASPCA, Humane Society, or your local police, or contact firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
