The Jude Ranch, Inc.
Our Featured Pet...
Check out Landon, the cat. You've got to see him in person to really "get" him but he's quite unique and very entertaining. He is a very busy guy and would love to be in a home where people are around most of the time. (Otherwise, I'm afraid he might end up rearranging your furniture. He has done that in Kat's House.) He's very friendly, but he doesn't just like to be petted and held. He likes activities. If any cat can be taught to do tricks, this one can. He's only a year old so he can be your buddy for many, many years with proper care and love.
The 10th Annual Jude Ranch "Fun"Raiser will be held on Friday, November 29, 2013, starting at 5:00 at Rococo Northpark, at 122nd and May in OKC. Admission is free. The restaurant is donating 10% of the proceeds to The Jude Ranch. There will be live music by Storyville Scoundrels, a raffle and "Blinged-Up" t-shirt sales. Please call Liz Schultz at (405)550-9331 for more info. All you have to do is show up and order up some of Rococo's delectable epicurean delights!
Who We Are
The Jude Ranch is a non-profit, 501©(3) animal sanctuary in southern Logan County, Oklahoma. Our mission is to provide a safe and happy home for "orphaned" pets and a place where children, who might not otherwise have the opportunity, can participate in their care and nurturing. Our primary function is to take in pets of people who have passed away or are elderly or terminally ill and can no longer care for them. We then try to place them in loving, forever homes, but they will always have a loving home at The Jude Ranch, a no-kill sanctuary. No animal is ever euthanized for being "unadoptable". We try to avoid taking in "owner-surrender" pets, believing that pets are part of the family, and if a family can no longer keep their pet, it is their duty to find them a good home.
Adopting a friend
To adopt a dog or cat from The Jude Ranch, you must first fill out an adoption application. Adopters must be at least 21 years of age. Requirements for a dog include adequate time to be spent with the dog, in exercise and in the house. Routine veterinary care is mandatory, i.e. vaccinations and heartworm prevention. All animals are spayed or neutered, unless they are not old enough. In that case, adopters sign an agreement to have them spayed or neutered. The adoption fee for all animals is $50. If the adoption does not work out, for whatever reason, adopters agree to return the animal to The Jude Ranch.
