Our Pet List

Who We Are

Since 1987, Berea Animal Rescue Fund (ARF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has provided food, shelter and healthcare to homeless animals until permanent homes can be found. ARF is supported entirely through donations, adoption fees and fundraising events. We are an extended-stay facility, with no time limits for finding loving homes. Last year, through volunteers, foster homes, and off-site adoption centers at PETCO Westgate and Strongsville, we cared for over 1,000 cats, kittens, dogs and puppies that otherwise would have been homeless. The Berea Animal Rescue Fund provides all medical needs, including leukemia testing of cats, heartworm testing of dogs, deworming, spaying and neutering.

Adopting a friend

Our main goals is to place animals in loving, permanent loving homes. If you are interested in adopting one of our available animals, you will be asked to fill out an application that will be reviewed with you by an adoption consultant before you may adopt a pet. Once this is successfully completed and you have selected a cat or dog, you will be asked to sign a contract of adoption, a copy of which accompanies the animal when it leaves the shelter to go home with you.
