Introducing Nikka, a 2 year old pure bred female Rottweiler in need of a loving home. Nikka is housetrained, crate trained, up to date on shots, and spayed. She is good with children and most other dogs. She is learning her manners and not to jump when you approach her. She is eager to please and always wants to be in your lap. Can you give Nikka the forever home she needs and deserves. Please email email@example.com for an application.
Who We Are
R.E.A.L. Rott Rescue is a small, private rottweiler rescue in Ashland, Ohio. Multiple homeless Rottweilers and work with them in our home to assess personality, temperament, training, and needs, then place them up for adoption. Our goal is to find not just any home for each dog, but the perfect match for both the dog, and its new family.
All our dogs get vet check-ups, and we make sure they are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots (rabies, DHLPP, and bordatella), heartworm tested, and checked for worms. We work with all our dogs on crate training, house breaking, and basic obedience.
Adopting a friend
An application must be completed and approved in order to adopt, and we do ask for several references, including a vet reference if you already have other animals. We conduct a home visit prior to placing the dog so that we can make sure the potential home is a safe place, and that the new dog will be a good match with your family. There is also an adoption agreement to sign, which has a number of clauses designed to ensure the health and safety of the dog. There is a fee for each adoption, which only partially covers the vaccination, spay/neuter, and other veterinary expenses. We reserve the right to adjust the adoption fee for dogs which have incurred exceptional veterinary fees due to illness or injury.
While we prefer to do local adoptions, we would never deny a dog its perfect home just because it was in a neighboring state. However, for the health and safety of the animals, we WILL NOT ship. We only adopt to indoor homes, and we will not adopt into a home where there are unspayed or unnuetered animals.
