Friends For Life Animal Haven is a non-profit, no kill, all volunteer organization founded in 1993 dedicated to helping homeless, abandoned, and abused/neglected puppies, kittens, cats, and dogs. Our animals are in foster homes. Our primary objective is to find permanent, loving homes for the animals in our care. Our animals are fostered in the homes of our volunteers. This allows us to discover the animals' individual personalities such as if our animals are better suited for single pet environments or if they interact well with other animals and/or children.
We emphasize the importance of spaying and neutering all animals.
We are entirely dependent upon our volunteers and the charitable gifts from people like you.
If you have room in your heart and home for one or more of our wonderful animals, we want to hear from you. Our animals are shown only by appointment or at selected locations. Please call us at 614-837-6260 for more information.
Once you have chosen your new furry friend, you fill out our application. We do reserve the right to do a home visit and we will make follow-up calls. If things are not working out, whatever the reason, The Animal Haven requests that the animal is returned to our care.
Our adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $200. For cats and kittens the adoption fee is $75 for one and $135 for two. Our fee includes: an examination by one of our participating veterinarians, spay or neuter, worming, and up-to-date vaccinations. Dogs also receive heart worm testing and cats receive Feline Leukemia testing. The adoption fee helps us to continue our mission and help other deserving future animals.>

We often hear, "I would love to help, but I already have too many animals." Well here is you answer...VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME. As little as four hours a week or month could help so much!
Volunteers are the backbone of Friends For Life Animal Haven. Weekend Volunteers are needed to take animals out to locations such as Petsmart where they can meet prospective adopters. Volunteers are also needed to help with special events, fundraising, grant writing, and newsletter writing. We are also looking for volunteers to wash our pet bedding.

Can you spare room to give a homeless animal a loving place to stay until adopted?
Our goal is to further develop our network of foster homes where the animals can be cared for until adoption. You provide the food, love, attention, and trips to the vet; we pay for all the vet bills. Please consider opening your heart and home.....you'll be surprised by the love you get in return!
