"Securing equal treatment and opportunity for 'pit bull' dogs."

Our Pet List

Pefinder.com requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Since visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable we have decided to no longer advertise our dogs on Petfinder.com. All of our available dog are listed on our website at http://www.animalfarmfoundation.org/pages/Available-Dogs. Animal Farm Foundation gets to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Animal Farm Foundation's dogs come from Animal Care and Control facilities and other rescues or shelters. We enjoy spending time getting to know each dog as an individual, which allows us to provide our dogs' new families with a summary of our experiences with them. On a daily basis, our dogs receive basic obedience training, exercise, and interactions with people and other animals. They also have the opportunity to experience outings and real life situations in public, as well as sleepovers with guests.

All of our dogs are:

  • Spayed/Neutered
  • Up to date on all vaccines
  • Microchipped
  • Basic Obedience trained with positive reinforcement methods

We strive to make perfect matches, not only for our dogs, but for prospective families. Once we have found a perfect match, we provide support to these dog and owner teams for the lifetime of the dog.
