LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT OF LI KITTIES, INC.
LI Kitties is changing in 2016. Since its inception in June 2008, LI Kitties has rescued and placed well over 1000 homeless and abandoned cats and kittens in forever homes. We have also trapped, neutered, released hundreds of cats. We have established a feral FIV (Feline Aids) sanctuary and a FELV (Leukemia) sanctuary. At this point in time, we are no longer accepting cats and kittens. We will, however, continue to take in cats and kittens in our SANCTUARIES as room allows. We hope you will continue to support us in caring for our 2 sanctuaries.
To those who have adopted cats or kittens from us in the past, we are still here for you. If you ever have a problem, question or issue with your LI Kitties adopted cat or kitten, please DO NOT hesitate to call or email me and I will be happy to help.
LI Kitties won PLATINUM in Best of the Best Animal Rescue North Fork AND South Fork in Dan's Papers 2014 and 2015.
LI Kitties would like to thank the Petco Foundation for their continued support.

Who We Are
We are a 501 (c) (3) non profit, no kill rescue organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of homeless or stray cats and kittens. We foster, socialize when necessary, and then place them into loving homes. This also includes vet examination, de-fleaing, de-worming, testing for FELV/FIV and spaying or neutering each cat or kitten before putting them up for adoption. We work in cooperation with other rescue organizations that share our beliefs. We do not have a shelter, we just use foster homes. We have no federal or state assistance. We also offer advice and try to educate the public with the importance of spay/neuter.
