Who We Are

We are a 501 (c) 3 organization created out of our love for pugs. Donations are welcomed and are tax deductible to the extent that the law allows. All our members are volunteers. We are organized to: A) Encourage and promote responsible dog ownership and reduce the abuse and neglect of unwanted Pug / Pug mixes through rehabilitation and adoption. B) Act as advocates for the Pug breed to rescue Pugs / Pugs mixes from unsafe or abusive situations within the realm of the legal system. C) Assist responsible and caring owners to rehome their Pug / Pug mixes when the situation and/or need is appropriate. D) Promote the humane treatment of Pug /Pug mixes and accept for placement unwanted Pug / Pug mixes, care for them medically, neuter/spayed them. and place them in caring homes. E) Provide educational services to the interested public regarding responsible breeding and ownership of Pugs / Pug mixes. F) Educate dog owners about training, neutering/spaying and humane care of their dogs, and promote good canine citizenship. G) Engage in fundraising activities, and collect and distribute charitable donations for the rescue dog's needs and to help offset the corporation's operating expenses.

Adopting a friend

The first step, if you live in our covered areas is to fill out an application which can be donwload from our website. We do NOT adopt on a first come first serve basis. We try to match the pug to the best home he/she could have & of, course deserves. Our adoption fee is usually $200-250 to help offset the cost of medical care. All dogs are seen by a vet prior to adoption - are neutered/ spayed - current on their shots, given kennel cough vaccine and have been heartworm tested. Any addtional needs advised by the vet are also done (i.e. dental cleaning) if needed.
