Robin's Nest TNR Cat Rescue
Our mission is to help abandoned and stray cats find permanent loving homes. We believe every animal deserves a chance to be loved and cared for so they can enjoy a safe and healthy life. Also, by spaying and neutering every animal prior to adoption, we help in controlling the overpopulation of cats in the community. Furthermore, with our TNR program (Trap, Neuter, Return) we hope to decrease the ever rising numbers of births in the Feral Colonies, thereby decreasing the numbers of cats/kittens that die every year from hunger, disease and extreme weather conditions. As we grow as a rescue we also hope to be able to provide food to people who feed ferals and work at helping make shelters for them. In addition we hope to educate the public on all of these issues with the anticipation of preventing the cruelty and overpopulation of cats in our society.
Hello! My name is Katy!
Katy is a gorgeous nine year old Tortoiseshell sweetheart whose dear owner of 9 years just had to go into a nursing home. Sadly, there was no one else to take Katy in. Katy's owner is diabetic, and when she was sleeping, Katy used to get on her chest and smell her breath and could tell if her blood sugar dropped and would wake her up!
So, you will understand why Katy is a bit camera shy right now, having left the only home and owner she's ever known. Katy is up to date on all of her shots, and has been spayed, now she just needs a new, loving and forever home.
