Place For Cats

Our Pet List

Our Featured Pet...

LINCOLN was saved from ACC's dreaded nightly list a year ago already, and he is the only kitty left on our roster from that time period. LINCOLN isn't a lap cat - and for that reason he has been passed over - but he is a nice and handsome cat who gets along with other cats. LINCOLN grew from a 14 week old timid kitten to a timid adult who now is in dire need of a purrrmanent home. LINCOLN would do best in a household with a female cat. Or, he can go alone to a home where there are no children, dogs or loud noises. He also would make an excellent mouser for a single adult or couple living in an old house. As noted, LINCOLN is handsome and polite toward other cats but will run away from strangers and thus needs a quieter environment. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WE HAVE BEEN RESCUING AS MANY FELINES AS WE CAN FROM THE ACC'S NIGHTLY AT RISK OF DEATH LISTS. Currently we have approximately 12 kitties ready for adoption. Place For Cats plans to obtain a new shelter space next year. We also plan to produce an anti-declawing VIDEO, for which we have the screenplay and veterinarians lined up to speak out against the paw tip mutilation. Meanwhile if you are interested in reading an article against the practice that was written by our director, Mia, and published in Place For Cats' MEOW BEAT please send a self-addressed stamped envelope to our address below. One way to help us raise funds is via shopping on Amazon. A percentage is automatically donated from your purchase price:
