Our Pet List

Pet of the Month

Majorica is a beautiful 12 to 18 month old cat . She has pastel tortie coloring. She is sweet , affectionate, and just a little bit goofy. She likes to greet you at the door and tell you about her day, which mostly consists of chasing bugs, playing with furry mice, and exploring all the nooks and crannies of your house. She gets along well with other cats, but does not have a best friend. She saves those feelings for her human.

Our most recent projects include the rescue and adoption of over 40 cats from an abandoned warehouse in Brooklyn, and 21 cats from empty parking lots in Queens.

Who We Are

We are a volunteer rescue group in NYC. We rescue homeless and abandoned cats and kittens, give them proper medical care, and find them loving homes. All of our animals are tested for FIV and FELV, have their shots, and if appropriate are spayed or neutered. To help support our activities, please send a check or money order to The Tigger Foundation, Inc. Because every life counts.

Adopting a friend

We will need to meet with you so that we know you understand all the lifestyle changes that go with owning a pet. We will also ask you to complete an application, which includes a simple reference check. And we will deliver the newest member of your family to your home. We do request an adoption donation.
