Manhattan Valley Cat Rescue

Our Pet List

Manhattan Valley Cat Rescue is a group of neighborhood volunteers united to help ease the plight of abandoned cats and kittens living on the streets of the neighborhood, known as Manhattan Valley (100 Street to 110 Street, between Amsterdam Avenue and Central Park West)in the borough of Manhattan. We are a 501c3 organization, which means that all donations are tax deductable.

In over 15 years of rescue work we have saved almost 500 cats from the streets of Manhattan. Through the use of a small network of foster homes and donated space we are currently caring for over 40 cats. Many of these have not been able to get adopted due to health or behavioral problems. We are strictly no kill, and once we rescue a cat we stay committed to them for their life span. All our rescues are fully vetted, spayed and neutered, and fed only top quality healthy diets. We recently rescued a young mother cat and her 2 kittens. The kittens are approx. 8 weeks old and healthy. The mom is currently feral but the kittens are friendly. Ideally we would love to find a home for the 3 of them but will consider adopting the kittens without the mom, PLEASE CALL US AT 212-222-9007. Their pictures are listed on our site under Emma and babies.
