Who We Are

Southern Nevada Schnauzer Rescue is an all-volunteer, donation-sponsored, non-profit organization dedicated to the overwhelming task of saving the lives of abused, abandoned and unwanted Schnauzers, who have lost their homes, due to no fault of their own. Many of these dogs come to us healthy, many sick or injured. They come from shelters, off the streets, from owners who for whatever reason, could no longer care for their little ones. Our goal: that any Schnauzer coming through our organization will never again have to face being on the streets, in a shelter, or any other dangerous situation, but will live a safe, loving and secure life in their new "forever" home.

Adopting a friend

Adopting a companion animal is a commitment to care for that pet for the rest of his or her life. The selection and interview process is thorough and not a process that can be rushed. Everyone interested in adopting a pet from Southern Nevada Schnauzer Rescue must complete an adoption application. Please email us at: to request an adoption application. The adoption fee for our dogs is $75-$300 and includes spaying or neutering; all vaccinations, including the Rabies vaccination. Our adoption specialists will work with you to make the best possible match and to make sure you have the information and resources you need to start enjoying your new friend. The adoption process may be time-consuming, but it's well worth it in the end--you adopt a pet that's right for you, and the pet gets a loving permanent home. We reserve the right to deny any adoption without explanation.

Come Visit Us!

We do not have a shelter. Our rescued dogs live in foster homes around the Southern Nevada area until they are placed in permanent homes. We are currently in desperate need of foster homes, so if you can help us foster please email us at:
