Our Featured Pet Cole is a 2 year old male border collie mix. Cole is very lovable and sweet. He gets along very well with other dogs and learns very quickly. He has a very happy disposition and is eager to please. Check out my picture at the Happy Tails page!

News Congratulations to our new director, Deonne Williams! Deonne was unanimously voted to be our new director at the Zoo. Deonne brings her expertise in thrift store management and animal welfare to our organization and has already made a big difference! She will be continuing the animal welfare programs that we have in place and we are so happy to have her! Welcome Deonne!

Who We Are

Our Mission has and always will be to spay and neuter as many animals as we can to reach the goal of "no more unwanted animals". This year we are "ramping" up our "spay and neuter" program by providing education and reduced veterinary services to our community. Please, if you have a pet that has not been spayed or neutered, contact us for assistance. Only you can provide for the welfare of your animals and your community. We also sponsor a "TNR" program. You can help your feral cat community by trapping them, taking them to the local vet to be spayed or neutered, pickup the animal and provide a safe place for a few days of recuperation and then return them to their outdoor home. Our program will pay for the entire spay or neuter operation and a rabies vaccination. This helps to reduce the feral cat overpopulations and diseases. Thank you.

Adopting a friend

If you see one of our adoption animals you would like to adopt, call us at 775 289 3744 and ask to speak to Deonne Williams. If Deonne is unavailable, please leave your contact information so that she can call you back for an adoption interview. All adoptions will require an interview with the director, Deonne Williams, before the animal can be released. A small donation/adoption fee is requested. We also have a lost and found animal network program. We cannot take any animals at this time but if you are willing to foster, we will provide vet services and food while a home is being looked for.
