Williamstown, NJ

Our Mission

West Jersey Volunteers for Animals is a foster based rescue organization, and have been together since 1998. We are a non profit 501c3 orgaanization and we rescue dogs from crowded shelters. We feel all homeless animals deserve a chance at a new life.
Our mission is to find the best matched home for our dogs and to make sure our adopters feel comfortable with the dog they adopt. We are always available to our adopters for any advice or suggestions to make sure all adoptions go well and are successful.
All our dogs are spayed/neutered, have appropriate vaccines, are tested for heartworm and tick diseases, are on preventatives, and are microchipped.
Senior dogs have bloodwork done also. We treat for medical issues to make the dogs we rescue healthy and adoptable.

After the Whole Family meets the dog, and you are approved to adopt, we will make an appointment to do a home visit with the dog so you can experience him/her in your home. If all goes well and you want to adopt, we do a 2 wk. trial foster to adopt, to make sure you feel it is a good match.
