Adopting A Friend

If you are thinking about adopting, please contact us by email or phone and we can give you more information.  If it sounds like we might have a kitty who is a good match for what you're looking for, then we will send you an adoption application to fill out and return to us.

Then if your application is approved we can arrange a time for you to meet the cat(s)/ kitten(s) who interest you.  Please note that we adopt within a 45 minute driving distance of the Lambertville area.

Adoption donation:
Kittens (up to 1 year) - $125
Adults - $100

Declawed cats - $125
Purebred Cats - $125

Seniors (over 10 years) - $50

This fee includes spaying or neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, testing for FIV and FeLV, deworming, and microchipping.  All of these services obtained at your veterinarian would total well over $300.   As needed, cats may also have received additional healthcare such as dental cleanings, x-rays, or bloodwork.

Who We Are

Lambertville Animal Welfare (LAW) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit group of Volunteer residents dedicated to saving the lives of animals in Lambertville and surrounding areas. Our goal, via Community Collaboration, is to create a No-Kill system within Animal Control, reunite owners with lost pets, find new/foster homes for unclaimed adoptable pets, oversee TNRM for community cat colonies, promote low-cost spay/neuter/micro-chipping, as well as protective licensing of all resident cats and dogs

Come Visit Us

All of our cats and kittens are living in foster homes in the Lambertville/ New Hope area, so we don't have a facility where you can come and see all of our adoptable cats in one place.  Our group uses a foster home model because it allows our cats and kittens to get used to living in a home environment, and their foster families can get to know their personalities and detect any health problems early so they can be treated.  This allows us to make the best match between a prospective adopter and a cat or kitten.  Please give us a call or send us an email and we can tell you more about our available cats and kittens for adoption, and how the adoption process works.  We do also have adoption events, primarily in the warmer months, where you can meet a number of our adoptable cats and kittens in one location. Please check out our website or Facebook for upcoming adoption events.
