The FURever Friends Organization

We are a volunteer organization that operates off of donations provided by the public sector and our fundraisers.

The Pennsville Pound not only receives stray animals from Pennsville Township, but also Mannington, Lower Alloways Creek (LAC), and Quinton.

When we receive strays, we have a 7 day holding period. At the end of the 7 days, the animals are now considered rescues and we can prepare them for adoption.

The non profit charity was formed to provide medical treatment for the shelter animals. Prior to adoption, all of our rescues are spayed or neutered, wormed, treated for fleas, given appropriate vaccinations and tested for several species of specific diseases. Many animals require much more medical treatments, and we try to do our best to provide them with the necessary medical attention.

Volunteers are at the shelter each morning between 8:30-9:30 and in the evenings from 3:30-4:30. If you would like to visit our rescues that are available for adoption, please call 856-469-4321 or email us at An Adoption Coordinator will respond to coordinate.

If you are interested in donating to our cause or adopting any of our rescues, please visit our website.
