We are a small animal rescue located in south Jersey but easily accessable from Pennsylvania and Delaware. We rescue mainly rodents and do not deal with cats or dogs. Although we gratefully accept donations, we rarely get them, and because of this our founder pays for ninety-nine percent of food, bedding, chewtoys, etc. out of her own pocket; this also means we can't afford to spay and neuter all of our animals--but this does not mean we breed our animals. WE DO NOT, and will not adopt to someone who is considering breeding. Because we are a home-based shelter we cannot give out our address, but you can easily reach us by email.
Since opening in September of 2005, we've already successfully found homes for guinea pigs, rats, ferrets, gerbils, mice, hamsters, chinchillas, and hedgehogs.
If you have a pet you can't care for anymore, surrender him here and we'll adopt him out to a good home. If you are interested in getting any small animals please consider us before going to a pet store or breeder!
If you're interested in adopting a pet from our shelter, please email us or go to http://tristatesmallanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org and fill out our application.
