Who We Are

Montgomery Township Animal Shelter is a municipal shelter in southern Somerset County. Our mission is to protect public health and safety and to promote the welfare of animals. We work to provide care and placement for injured, abused, neglected and abandoned animals into permanent and loving homes. We serve as advocates for animals, and are committed to providing community service programs and educating the public about the humane treatment of animals. Every animal at the shelter is treated with respect and care regardless of breed, age or personality.

The Montgomery Animal Shelter usually has animals available for adoption. Cat Adoption Days are every Saturday from 9AM to 11AM or weekdays by appointment. The Shelter is located behind the Municipal Building at 2261 Route 206. The Adoption fee of $75 includes spay/neuter and a rabies vaccination.

Donations
