About Us

Annie's Little Orphans Small Dog Rescue is committed to placing small homeless dogs into caring forever homes. We provide support and information about responsible pet care and promote spay/ neuter and adoption while raising awareness about the homeless pet crisis in the USA.
We are a non profit small dog rescue. We adopt our dogs into loving homes all over New England and beyond.

Adopting A Friend

Adopting a Little Orphan Dog is simple:

We are looking forward to helping our dogs find loving homes and will help you every step of the way. As soon as we hear from you,  we will contact you immediately! When you adopt you will have helped to save not only one dog's life, but two. As soon as a space opens up here, we rescue the next urgent dog waiting in the kill shelter in CA.
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please go to our website www.annieslittleorphans.org. to the "Adopt Now" page where you can fill out and submit our Adoption Questionnaire online. Or if you prefer, contact us and we will send you one by email or regular mail.

There is an adoption fee of $375. payable at the time of adoption. This helps to cover full vetting, health certification and air travel. Your contribution enables us to rescue and transport the next dog to safety.

Our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped. They are also on Frontline flea and tick prevention, and heartworm preventative. They are fully vetted before leaving our rescue
We are here for any kind of support an adopter may need at any time!

Please call if you have any questions or to schedule a visit to meet our dogs:

Who We Are

About Our Rescue
Our little dogs come from Carson Shelter, a high kill shelter in Los Angeles, CA. The dogs that we rescue are sweet and highly adoptable, but are out of time and in imminent danger due to overcrowding at the shelter.
They fly here on American Airlines and after they arrive and rest, they are placed up for adoption. They are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, dewormed, health certified, and microchipped. They are also on flea, tick, and heartworm preventative. If a dog is in need of extra care or rehabilitation they are given our full attention and access to all of our veterinary resources.
