Adoption Policy
If you see a dog or puppy on our website and would like to start the process of saving a rescued animal – please email steppingstonesrescue@gmail.com and request an application.
The application will be processed by an adoption counselor. We will make contact with you to answer any questions you may have and review your application. Incomplete applications will not be considered, as the information you give us on your application is essential in determining the compatibility of the dog you have requested with your life-style.
At this time, we will also conduct a vet reference to determine the health of your past and current animals. Â ALL potential adoptive families must have up-to-date veterinary records on all pets currently residing in the home. We believe for health and temperament reasons that it is in the best interest of the dog to be spayed or neutered
