Our Featured Pet...

All the animals that come to us have to be Spayed/Neutered and given vaccines, Heartworm tested and put on prevention. If you would like to help any of these K-9's here's how you can help. We can always use donations of..... Pedigree dog or puppy food, towels, sheets, blankets, bleach, paper towels, plastic dog house, crates, kennels or runs, medal bowls, leashes, collars, grooming supplies(shampoo, conditioners, brushes, combs etc.) or a cash donation. Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Who We Are

I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I've always had one or two animals. About 6 years ago I started looking for a puppy for my daughter. I made contact with a lady who placed an ad in the local newspaper. She told me she was in animal rescue and some of the stories on the dogs she had. I visited her and adopted a puppy. After a few months I called her again, this time asking about helping her. I was willing to clean crates, feed, walk the dogs, whatever she needed. Well, that all it took. I fell head over hills in love with rescue. It's by far glamarous, nor a money making project. But the rewards are far better. I've started my own rescue,(what was I thinking). I'm trying to do my part in helping as many rescue dogs that I can. I provide food, water, shelter, medical , but most of all, All the TLC they can handle. Is it hard work? You bet it is! Do you make any money? Yea right! Am I always happy? NO! Do I cry? Count on it!. Even with all the cons, I wouldn't stop for nothing, each time I adopt out a dog to a good home, and watch them leave, I'm might cry but the feeling is not all sadness, yes I miss them, but they are getting a forever home. I know they'll never be hungry, cold, sick, or alone again. Because I only adopt out to people I'm sure about and I keep a check on all the dogs adopted out though this rescue. Do I always make the right choice? No, not always but most of the time. I said all this to say. I'm a K-9 Rescue, trying to do my very best to help as many as I can.

Adopting a friend

We have a adoption fee is $200.00 and there is an adoption contract that we ask you to read and sign. We do keep all paperwork at the rescue and do check in on our adopted pets from time to time. IF for any reason I find that the pets that are placed are not being care for properly, I will remove the pet and return it to the rescue. There are some dogs with special needs as well as others that are ready and waiting to find their forever home. We will take applications only, then make a choice on the best home for the dog. We reserve the right to approve or deny any applications. The most important job we have is placing the pets with the right forever family. We reserve the right to approve or decline any adoption. We do not adopt out of state.
