About the event: This is our most important fundraiser of the year, and quite possibly the best pet event St. Cloud has to offer! Held on Saturday, September 12, 2015, the 5k walk for animals kicks off from Wilson Park at 10am, and from 9-2pm there will be games, arts & crafts, face painting, food, a silent auction, animal demos, exhibitors, music, a free bouncy house for kids, human jousting, a dunk tank - and of course, the dog park along the beautiful Mississippi! All this and more will be available for you and your pets to enjoy as we celebrate the bond between humans and animals. Most importantly, there will be animals galore!!! Last year we had close to 500 enthusiastic pet lovers with over 300 companion animals join us, and we would love to see even more this year!
Back by popular demand, we will have a hotdog eating contest and costume contest - both of which include pets and their people! Come hungry and in your best Woofstock attire! There is no fee to participate, but the winner of the hotdog eating contest, best dressed pet and best dressed person will each win $50 - thanks to Vicky Ernst and Kloster Commercial Resources. We will take unlimited contestants for the costume contest, but there are limited spots available for the hotdog eating contest. We encourage you to register early on our Facebook event page!

Be an Event Exhibitor! This is a wonderful opportunity to promote your business, especially if your product or service is pet related! Hundreds of walkers will browse the tables before and after the walk and we encourage you to bring free giveaways to promote your business. Sales, however, are not allowed.

Exhibitor Fee: $75.00 ($25.00 for nonprofits). After Friday, September 4, 2015, a late fee of $25.00 must be added.
Be an Event Contributor! FOOD, REFRESHMENTS, PRIZES & SILENT AUCTION ITEMS NEEDED! We offer food and beverages for our walkers. If you are able to help in this area, please contact Marit at (320) 252-0896 ext. 14. We are also looking for certificates to local restaurants and merchants to make up prize packages for our top fundraisers. Lastly, we have a small silent auction at the event to raise extra funds for the animals. Consider donating an item to be auctioned off!

Walk the Walk! Fundraisers Needed! This event is free and open to the public, but we ask that you do your best to help us raise funds for the animals at the Tri-County Humane Society - and we will reward you for your efforts!!! Ask everyone you know to sponsor you with a gift of any size. Remember to tell them their gifts are tax deductible! We'd be happy to offer receipts for gifts upon request. Collect donations in person or by creating your own online fundraising page. Then register your pledge form and donations from 9-10am at the event to qualify for fantastic prizes!
Top Fundraiser Prizes: The top 40 individual fundraisers and top fundraising team will win a prize package including gift certificates to local restaurants and businesses.
*Note: If you plan on creating a fundraising team, simply agree on a team name and have each member write it on their pledge form. Each teammate’s efforts will be combined to qualify for the top fundraising team prize in addition to the top individual fundraiser prizes.
(TCHS employees do not qualify for top fundraising prize packages.)
