Metropolitan Mutts

A Twin Cities Rescue

Welcome to the Metropolitan Mutts organization page on Petfinder! We are excited that you are starting your search for a new friend and would be happy to assist you through the adoption process. Please view our information below, adoptable dogs list, or our website for more information on adopting a dog through Metropolitan Mutts.

Metropolitan Mutts mission is to rescue, provide sanctuary, and ultimately find placement for abused, neglected, and unwanted companion animals. Together we will work towards combating the over-population of homeless animals.

Metropolitan Mutts exists to provide temporary care and re-homing services for homeless companion animals. Utilizing committed volunteers, foster homes and community partnerships with veterinarians, trainers, and boarding facilities, Metropolitan Mutts aims to offer a second chance to animals in need. By involving and educating the community, Metropolitan Mutts works to raise the publics awareness of the plight of homeless animals, the importance of spaying/neutering as well as realizing the benefits of adopting from a local rescue. At Metropolitan Mutts, our business decisions are guided by our values of Integrity, Community, Respect, Stewardship and Excellence.

Our organization and ability to rescue dogs is dependent upon our supporters, such as you. Metropolitan Mutts does not have a physical shelter and does not receive public funds, so we rely heavily on adoption fees and donations to continue operating and rescuing dogs in need. Any donation, no matter the size, makes a huge difference; a donation of $5 will provide a new collar or leash for one of our dogs, while a donation of $60 will cover the cost of spaying/neutering one of our rescue dogs.
