Karen Good, founder of RLRR, has been honored as one of KARE 11’s 2011 Eleven Who Care. We are very proud of her!
Adopting A Friend
RLRR has terrific dogs and cats up for adoption! These animals have all made the transport down from the reservation to be fostered in the Twin Cities. Photographs and descriptions of each animal can be found here on Petfinder or on our website (www.redlakerosie.org).
We require an application to be completed before visiting with an animal. This helps us learn more about you and what kind of companion animal you are looking for.
Adoption fees vary on each animal. We feel the adoption fees are very reasonable for the care and medical attention these animals receive.
NOTE: You must be 21 years of age and live in a 75 mile radius of the metro area to adopt an animal. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption we do not feel is appropriate. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
Who We Are
Red Lake Rosie’s Rescue is an all volunteer run, non-profit animal rescue group located on the Red Lake Indian Reservation in northwestern Minnesota. The organization was founded by Karen Good with a group of volunteers and became 501(c)(3) exempt in 2006. We are committed to educating residents on the reservation about animal care, providing shelter and medical care to homeless animals, and providing low cost spay/neuter clinics to residents.
Come Visit Us
We hold adoption events occasionally on weekends at Chuck & Don's. Please check our website for up to date information on adoption events.
