Who We Are

SPCA of Southwest Michigan (SPCA) is a volunteer led and operated organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and responsible adoption of homeless pets. SPCA provides its rescued animals with veterinary care, vaccinations and spay/neuter surgery, as well as socialization and rehabilitation within our foster home system and at our shelter.

To date, SPCA of Southwest Michigan has rescued and adopted out nearly 12,000 dogs, puppies, cats and kittens since its inception in 2002. The organization serves counties throughout the region by rescuing abandoned pets that might otherwise be euthanized in pound facilities.

The SPCA of Southwest Michigan is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization that operates solely on private donations and service fees charged upon adoption.
