Upcoming Events

SAVE THE DATE:FARM's Fall Fling will be on Sunday, November 12th from 2-6pm at Jarrettsville Vol. Fir Co. Come enjoy good food, drinks, music, raffles and dancing. We are currently in need of donations to make this event a success. We need raffle baskets, items to put into raffle baskets like gift cards, wine glasses and novelty items, and liquor/wine for the liquor wheel. Without your support and this event FARM could not help all the wonderful animals that come into our rescue.

YOU CAN HELP SAVE LIVES!!

If you love animals and wish to help, but are unable to adopt at this time, please consider making a charitable contribution. We are a non-profit 501C3 and your contribution is tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law. You may contribute by mailing a check to Fallston Animal Rescue, 2725 Fallston Road, Fallston, MD 21047; making a donation through Paypal below; or donating a vehicle.

Our contributions were down significantly last year due to the economy, but the number of pets we save continues to increase. Your donation will go directly to provide vet care for the animals we save, thus increasing our ability to save more lives.

Fallston Animal Rescue Movement, Inc. (code 68389) is part of the Federal Combined Campaign (both the Chesapeake Area and National) and the Maryland Charity Campaign for State Workers. Please consider donating - every cent goes directly to save animals from being euthanized at local shelters.

Our Featured Pet...Bebop

The FARM volunteers just don't understand why Bebop hasn't found her forever home yet. She came to FARM almost a year ago and the other small dog that came with her has already found his forever home. Bebop is a 6 year old female Chihuahua. She has some of the typical Chihuahua tendencies and does not do well with strangers. But if you approach her slow and let her come to you then you won't be a stranger for long. Once she comes to you for attention then you will have a new best friend. Bebop's favorite activity is snuggling and snuggle time isn't over until she says it is. She has done well with the other dogs her own size in foster but she does not like cats.

A Special Thanks!

A special thanks to Madonna Veterinarian & Staff, Companion Animal Care Center and staff, Best Friends Fur Ever and County Comfort Kennels for helping us with our animals this year. We also want to thank our wonderful volunteers, Barbara, Sally, Tami, Jim, JT, Sue, Candy, Candia and Kelly. And, of course, thank you to everyone who has donated to us and/or adopted one of our pets. We couldn't do what we do without you!

Our Mission

The F.A.R.M. was started by Greg and Barbara Bertling to find homes for some of the wonderful, loving pets abandoned, lost or given up and scheduled for euthanasia at area shelters. Thus, FARM means the difference between life and death for the pets rescued.

We provide food, shelter, medical care, behavioral evaluation and affection. We take great care to find responsible, loving, permanent homes for each pet we save.

The FARM has rescued and placed over 10,000 dogs and cats since its beginning in October, 2000.
