Casey is a laid-back, yet fun-loving Beagle who is longing for a home of his own and people to love. He gets along well with most dogs and seems to do fine with cats. At about 25 pounds, he's a nice size for any living arrangement. Casey enjoys a leash walk or romp in the yard, but chills out well indoors, and he is friendly with everyone. Please call (301) 478-3206 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for all inquiries regarding this pet.
Safe shelter will only euthanize an animal if it's quality of life is permanently awful, otherwise, a dog or cat taken in here and not adopted will remain at the shelter for its lifetime. All animals are spayed or neutered, age and health permitting, and are kept current on rabies and distemper vaccinations. Cats are tested upon entry for feline Aids and feline leukemia. (A positive test means the cat is isolated from non-infected animals and allowed to live out his or her life). Dogs are tested for heartworm and kept on a heartworm preventative.
Safe Shelter, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and donations are tax-deductible (not to mention Greatly Appreciated!!!)
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please e-mail us at email@example.com. In your e-mail, please include a phone number where you may be reached to ensure a quick response.
Here at Safe Shelter, we take many steps to ensure that our animals are adopted into suitable homes. To ensure this, our adoption process includes an application, interviews, a home visit, and veterinary references.
Safe Shelter Inc. is currently recruiting foster homes to care for some of our animals until they are able to find their forever home. If you are interested, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, including the type of animal that you are interested in fostering, as well as a phone number where you can be reached.
Note: Safe Shelter is not able to take in any more animals at this time.
